Shape the future of NAVEL
Today, we invite you to shape the future of NAVEL by filling out our Community Census.
We have spent the past weeks of isolation reevaluating what we do and how to best serve you moving forward. Your participation is vital to this process and your answers will shape the plans we’re making for an eventual reopening of the space (including how we direct the funds raised by the community).
Please take this short 8-10 minute survey before May 31, 2020.
At the end of the survey you’ll have a chance to enter a contest to win a NAVEL gift bag (valued up to $400), including a KIN hoodie, the 0.1% & Sofra Daymeh zines, an AESOP travel set, and a year-long BFF Membership!
We’re also happy to be able to report some good news—NAVEL was the recipient of an SBA PPP loan, meaning we have rent, utilities, and payroll covered at least for a couple of months. We also raised $7,899 from the community in April, nearly 95% of our goal for the month, and on track for us to reach our goal of $25,000 by the end of June. Thank you to all who have contributed towards our collective future!
Although the PPP loan provides some relief, by no means does it guarantee our survival. If within your means, please make a donation or become a member.
Lastly, save the date! On Wednesday, June 10, NAVEL co-directors Michael Holt & Amanda Vincelli will host a Community Town Hall, reviewing the results of the Community Census and announcing exciting changes to NAVEL membership and our home base in Downtown Los Angeles. RSVP here.
