Sister With Invoices is celebrating its one year anniversary in appreciation of its community with a decolonized vegan dinner & cocktails, as well as a conversation* with unapologetically punk, independent Black non-binary + femme creatives from LA and the Bay Area.

Following this event at NAVEL, an afterparty will take place in collaboration with Twerk 4 Mother Earth x Nubian Westhood at a undisclosed private location from 10PM - 4AM. THE UHURUVERSE (he/they/them) is the founder, electric guitarist + vocalist of Fuck U Pay Us (FUPU), performance artist and founder of SNATCHPOWER - a post-apocalyptic, Afro futuristic femme liberationist artist collective.
JASMINE NYENDE is the lead singer of Fuck U Pay Us ( FUPU ). She is a community organizer, founder of Common Threads + multidisciplinary artist. Her practice involves textiles, poetry, sculpture, and video.

Light + Sasha Kelley: The House Of Malico is a West Oakland based collective and creative hub offering contemporary art, production services and public programs. They are also the creators of Twerk 4 Mother Earth - a party that has very specific intentions to curate a safe(r) space for: QTIPOC and BIPOC communities by promoting consent culture in nightlife.
